Teach-VET stands for Platform for self-assessment and development of the teaching competence for VET
teachers and trainers. It is a strategic partnership project funded through the Erasmus+ programme with partners from Lithuania, Italy and Germany. It runs from Nov. 2018 – Oct. 2020.
Teach-VET developed an electronic tool for the self-assessment, monitoring, guidance of the teaching competence of VET teachers and trainers.
The methodology behind the development of the tools is based on the analysis of the teaching processes and action fields of VET teachers and practical trainers in companies, in the partner countries Lithuania, Italy and Germany.
On the basis of the initial comparative analysis the contents of the assessment questionnaires were identified. For each competence field addressed in the questionnaires, resources for further learning are proposed.
The usage and exploitation of the Teach-VET online tool for assessment of teaching competence of the VET teachers and trainers aims to improve the effectiveness of the provided training quality and to support the competence development of VET teachers and trainers.
